Jacobsen Lenticular Tool & Cylinder Engraving Technologies Co. (JacoTech), announces the opening of a new full service sales office, located in Hengyang, Hunan, China.

JacoTech's new sales office named "JacoTech.China" is managed by new company hire, Ms. Bing Zhao; whom will report directly to company president and owner, Dr. Gary A. Jacobsen.

Ms. Zhao, is a May 2009 graduate of University of Connecticut; is fluent in both English and Chinese, will be a great asset to JacoTech, while serving the company's direct sales efforts with the Chinese Government and other large commercial plastic extrusion manufacturing accounts.

JacoTech engraves optical based patterns into cylinders/rollers/drums/mandrels, via diamond turning/milling/flycutting.

JacoTech's light mangement control techniques and plastic cylinder mould products allow for the creation of both simple to complex, optical surface structures that are engraved directly into plastic extrusion/embossing/casting cylinders; which then are later used by our customers for high-volume, low-cost, plastic/polymer optical film materials processing; for products such as: 3D/Animated lenticular lenses used for the print industry, lens array technology for solar energy collection panels, retro-reflective road sign films, and much more.
